           A native of Bossier City, Louisiana, soprano Lori Ann Fuller made her Lyric Opera of Chicago debut as Rose Maurrant in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene in October 2001, alongside Catherine Malfitano, Dean Peterson, Gregory Turay, and Timothy Nolan, with David Pountney directing and Richard Buckley conducting.  In August 2000 she made her BBC Proms debut, also as Rose Maurrant, in a concert sequence of Street Scene, arranged by Symonette and Kowalke, with Barry Wordsworth conducting the BBC Concert Orchestra.  Ms. Fuller’s London debut came in January 2000 when she was heard as Angela in Weill’s Firebrand of Florence with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Sir Andrew Davis.  This performance was released on CD in August 2003 by Capriccio Records.
          Since her prestigious debuts in London and Chicago, Ms. Fuller has performed several roles with opera companies around the United States, including Madame Goldentrill and Mrs. Gobineau in a double bill of Mozart’s Impresario and Menotti’s The Medium with Portland Opera Repertory Theater (ME), Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi with Pine Mountain Music Festival (MI), Zorika in Lehar’s Gypsy Love with Light Opera Works (IL), and Gilda in Rigoletto with l’opera piccola (IL).  Other career highlights include Adina in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’Amore performed in Sant’Angelo in Vado, Italy, and Marian Paroo in Willson’s Music Man in Glendale, CA.

In the 2005-2006 season, Ms. Fuller performed for the Los Angeles Opera for various functions, including concerts for the Hispanics for LA Opera and recitals for numerous Educational Outreach Programs.  She sang the role of Violetta in a concert version of La Traviata for LA Opera’s Opera for Educators.
          In the 2006-2007 season, Ms. Fuller covered the roles of the Maidens in the LA Opera production of Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny, starring Patti LuPone, Audra MacDonald, and Anthony Dean Griffey.  In March 2007, she repeated the role of Violetta in her debut with the Pacific Repertory Opera in San Luis Obispo, CA.
          In the 2007-2008 season, Ms. Fuller returned to LA Opera to perform the role of Jano in Janacek’s Jenufa, starring Karita Mattila in the title role, and sang recitals for the LA Opera League.  In June 2008, Ms. Fuller is the soprano soloist with the Hollywood Master Chorale's concert Opera Schmopera.

          In the 2008-2009 season, she performed the roles of Soprano Lover in Il Tabarro and 1st Cercatrice in Suor Angelica, as part of LA Opera's Il Trittico production, directed by William Friedkin, and conducted by James Conlon. In March, 2009, Ms. Fuller is the soprano soloist

with the Verdi Chorus, performing opera selections from Maria Stuarda, Un Ballo in Maschera, Don Pasquale, and Candide.

          Ms. Fuller is increasingly in demand as a soprano soloist in concert repertoire including performances of Messiah, Stravinsky’s Les Noces, Faure’s Requiem, Vivaldi’s Gloria, and Bach’s Cantatas No. 6 and 51.   In the 2002-2003 season Ms. Fuller debuted with the Longview Opera (TX) as the soprano soloist in their opera gala concert.  Other season concerts and recitals in Illinois included Mozart Concert Arias with the New Philharmonic Orchestra in Glen Ellyn, cabaret recitals in Wilmette and Elmhurst, and appearances with the Irving Park Fine Arts Series and Chicago Columbia Club.  In 2006, she performed on the Bach’s Lunch Recital Series in Manhattan Beach, CA. 
           In July 2007, Ms. Fuller performed 3 concerts with the Mozart Festival in San Luis Obispo, CA, a concert of Mozart scenes and arias, both soprano roles, Gabriel and Eve, in Haydn’s The Creation, and the role of Pales in Bach’s ‘Hunt’ Cantata. Also in 2007, she performed the Villa-Lobos Bachianas Brasilieras No. 5 with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
          She has been recognized by numerous vocal competitions including the Metropolitan Opera National Council, Palm Beach Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Mobile Opera, and Shreveport Opera.  She won awards in the Bel Canto Competition in Chicago and was the recipient of the 2000 Lynne Harvey Award through the Chicago Musicians Club for Women.
          Ms. Fuller holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Stetson University (DeLand, FL) and a Master of Music degree from DePaul University (Chicago, IL).
